OAB’s work is built upon the generosity of our donors all over Oxfordshire and all contributions, large or small, regular or occasional, go towards helping us make a real difference to lives of blind and visually impaired person’s. Our online donation form is a fast, convenient and secure way for you to give money. Your donation will mean we can continue essential projects such as the Home Visiting Scheme.

By making a donation to OAB you can help blind and partially sighted people throughout Oxfordshire maintain their social and personal independence. The money you give helps provide funding for essential services. . People who have lost some or all of their vision always welcome empathy from people who care but they also need equipment, practical advice and training so they can get on with their lives despite sight loss. The money you raise helps us to help them. It's amazing what your money could do. £5 could buy a liquid level indicator, allowing a blind person to make a hot drink without risk of scolding. £10 could pay for a computer keyboard to be adapted for a visually impaired person and £250 would allow us to supply a mobile reading aid to a partially sighted person.

Ways to donate:

By Cheque / Postal / Money Order: payable to 'OAB' and post to Oxford Association for the Blind, Bradbury Lodge Gordon Woodward Way, Oxford, OX1 4XL. Please download and fill in the donation form which should be included with your donation. When we receive a cheque or postal order donation, OAB will post a receipt to you promptly.

Standing Order:
If you want to make regular payments to us, why not take advantage of a standing order with your bank? This can be used to make regular payments whether weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually. Not only does it save you having to remember when you last sent anything to us, it also saves you the hassle and cost of writing cheques and posting them to us. If you do wish to pay by standing order, please complete the standing order on the following page, but please remember to send this to OAB and NOT to your bank.

Gift Aid Scheme for Cheque / Postal donations: You can increase the value of your support to OAB, at no cost to yourself, by allowing us to claim the tax back on your donations. If you are a UK taxpayer, simply Gift Aid your donations and increase your support of OAB's work. For every £10 given, OAB can claim back an extra £2.82. That’s almost 30% on the value of your gifts to OAB. All you need to do is make a simple Gift Aid declaration. This will cover all donations that you have made to OAB since 6th April 2000 and any gifts that you choose to make to support us in the future.
